Joseph Angole is a seasoned trial advocate and Partner at Emoru & Co. Advocates, with over a decade of distinguished legal practice in Uganda. He is a trained Mediator by the Judicial Training Institute under the Courts of Judicature, bringing a pragmatic and cost-effective approach to dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Emoru & Co. Advocates, Joseph started his career as a Legal Assistant in MTN Uganda in 2011 where he participated in drafting, reviewing legal documents and conducting due diligence for the transfer of telecommunications masts and leases between MTN Uganda to American Tower Corporation (ATC).

In 2012, he joined the Judiciary as a Magistrate Grade One until 2020 where he adjudicated several civil and criminal matters with a focus on procedural fairness and judicial integrity. In addition, he was charged with promoting court-annexed mediation and upholding high ethical standards in delivering timely, impartial justice.

Joseph is also a Ford Foundation Fellow, a Danish Fellow and a graduate of the Uongozi Leadership Institute in Tanzania.
